In un mattino d’autunno il South Jet 227 parte da Orlando, al comando di Whip Whitaker, per un volo di routine. L’aereo però s’imbatte presto in una turbolenza ed entra in una forte tempesta, poi una serie d’inesplicabili guasti lo fanno precipitare a spirale verso il basso.
